Secure encapsulation of sensitive electronic components at Elecrama 2010

The material manufacturer RAMPF Giessharze and the mixing and dispensing specialist RAMPF Dosiertechnik currently conquer India. That’s why the presentation at the Elecrama in Bombay, 20 to 24 January 2010, is a must for both companies. At booth H5A15 polyurethane systems and dispensing equipment for the electronics industry are shown.

Electro casting resins of the brand RAKU-PUR® protect sensitive electronic components.

The compact DC-CNC dispenses sealants, adhesives and resins.

The low-maintenance mixing system.

Since 2009 the RAMPF Group cooperates with Indian companies. The local partners distribute the full product range of RAMPF Giessharze and RAMPF Dosiertechnik. Even services such as sampling and contract manufacturing are part of the portfolio. On the Elecrama in January 2010, the companies show a live presentation. At booth H5A15 the compact dispensing system DC-CNC dispenses caps for electrical distribution houses with foam gasket RAKU-PUR® 31-3122. The polyurethane sealing system shows low water absorption, good mechanical strength and high temperature resistance. Thanks to its short tack-free time the sealed part can be processed quickly. The DC-CNC is the compact solution requiring minimum space. It combines flexibility and dynamics for the 2D- or 3D- dispensing of sealants, adhesives and resins. State of the art control technology joins dispensing technology with the precise movement of the linear robot. The modular control design allows fast and simple integration into any production system. The heart of the DC-CNC is the low-maintenance mixing system MS-C. In addition, the comprehensive range of RAKU-PUR® electro casting resins will be presented with examples of different exhibits. The resins made of polyurethane cover a wide range of applications, e.g. PCB or sensors. Electro casting resins insulate and protect electronic components from humidity, water, dust and foreign particles as well as from chemical and mechanical loads. They optimize the insulation values and help that way dissipating heat from the components.
