RAMPF Dosiertechnik introduces new DC-CNC 1150 mixing and dispensing cell

RAMPF Dosiertechnik showcased the new mixing and dispensing cell, the DC-CNC 1150, at the this year's Bondexpo (Stuttgart), FAKUMA (Friedrichshafen) and IZB (Wolfsburg) trade fairs. The plant with an increased traversing range is suitable for bonding and sealing single or multiple component materials. A maximum of four components can be processed in parallel on two mixing devices.

This autumn RAMPF Dosiertechnik is focusing on innovation. Besides its broadly diversified product portfolio, which extends from simple manual installations to fully automated production plant, the machine-builder is presenting a new development: the DC-CNC 1150 mixing and dispensing cell. The number in the product name stands for the maximum possible traversing paths X and Y with a length of 1150 mm.

The company from the Black Forest will be rounding off its program with the new DC-CNC 1150 installation, which represents the XL-version of the standard dispensing cell DC-CNC. One objective of the development was to construct a dispensing cell with increased traversing range and a compact construction. Traversing axes, material format and dispensing technology therefore form a unit. "Particularly within the area of jointing technology, flexibility is important. Various materials are available on market. In addition, there are also components with increasingly complex geometries which have to be sealed, poured or bonded together. With the DC-CNC 1150 we have the perfect solution. The compact dispensing plant efficiently processes all kinds of materials. Various systems can be integrated for component handling", described Sales and Marketing Director Hartmut Storz.

Whether epoxy resin, PU or silicone - with the contour-controlled cell (traversing range X x Y x Z = 1000x1000x300 mm) - the user can process two to four components using up to two mixing devices. Above all, the option of parallel dispensing on two alternating conveyor systems guarantees the highest possible productivity. The entire installation is managed by an innovative control technology system based on the SINUMERIK 840D.

The dispensing pumps near the mixing unit promise to provide the required dispensing accuracy and dynamics. The DC-CNC 1150 combines a mixing and dispensing system with liner axis movements. A new generation of dispensing pumps equipped with sealed bearings and flow-optimized material flow ensures extremely precise dispensing. But the experts from RAMPF Dosiertechnik also thought about simple maintenance. For this reason and to achieve easier manual refilling, users only have to pull out the material containers from the machine frame.
