Dr. Klaus Schamel is the new Chief Executive Officer of RAMPF Giessharze
Since the 1st of June 2008 Dr. Klaus Schamel has taken over the role as Chief Executive Officer of the RAMPF Giessharze GmbH & Co. KG in Grafenberg. He is the successor of Horst Bader who as of January 2008 has taken over as Chief Financial Officer of the RAMPF Holding GmbH & Co. KG and is responsible for the branch of Finance, Control and strategic Purchase. Before joining RAMPF Giessharze GmbH & Co. KG Schamel was the Chief Executive Officer of Metzeler Schaumstoff GmbH in Memmingen.

Dr. Klaus Schamel has been working in the field of Polyurethane for 23 years and RAMPF Giessharze GmbH & Co. KG will surely profit from his profound Know-how in the future. The Chemist with a doctorate has ambitious goals in his sight. As the Chief Executive Officer he wishes to expand further the leadership position’s of the specialists for reactive resins. “My top-most goal is to tie into the success story of the company founder Rudolf Rampf – like my predecessor Horst Bader already did before me”, explains Schamel. In the coming three years the 51 year old is aiming for a 50% increase in sales. Schamel is thereby also aiming to capture new market segments.
Dr. Klaus Schamel studied Chemistry in Bayreuth. He has collected his professional experience in various businesses in the chemistry branch. The plastics-expert has been in managerial positions for the last 15 years – most recently at Metzeler Schaumstoff GmbH in Memmingen. Throughout the time Schamel gained fantastic connections to the automobile, furniture, consumer goods and aerospace industries.
